Why Not Dance

There are religious taboos when it comes to dancing, other than for religious reasons, why the hell wouldn't anyone want to experience the renewing energy of mind and body that results from dancing? To be honest, not all dancing involves wearing pink tutus, and many dance forms are quite masculine in nature, so preserving masculinity certainly cannot be a suitable excuse for not dancing.

When it comes to dancing, there are many interesting and amazing dance styles around the world. From the weapon dances of yesteryear (which perfectly represent virility and masculinity, although they are not widely practiced today except in ceremonial dance) to the grace and beauty of ballet or dance. Ballroom dancing It is almost certain that there is some form of dance that should appeal to almost everyone on the planet.

The Indians had a great attitude and ideals when it came to dancing. They danced for almost every reason and let the drumbeat be their guide. Native Americans danced for worship, for rain, for joy, for sorrow, and in preparation for war. Their dances were genuine and as much a part of their individual nature as their tribal identity. Dance was an essential part of their culture and heritage and is still passed on today, albeit to a much lesser extent.

While some religions discourage dancing, others view it as a form of worship and devotion to their gods. Some encourage dancing as an expression of praise. Others dance for the joy of blessings and bounty from their gods or to submit to their gods. Regardless, dance plays a vital role in many religions of the world. If you are a believer, I can think of some better reasons to dance than to express your beliefs in physical form.

Some people just dance because they like music and like to see others dance. There are all kinds of fun dance styles that you can do alone, in pairs or in a much larger group. In the United States, line and square dances are great ways to dance as part of a larger group, as well as many types of competitive dancing and as part of a ballet or dance company. A different kind of competitive or professional dance company. Dancing couples understand square dance to a certain extent, but also other forms of dance, such as ballroom dancing. Singles dance is rather reserved for competitive dance and often requires years of practice to perfect. Some people dedicate their lives to this type of dance and still fail to establish themselves on the competitive dance circuit.

Dancing for fitness is another wave that seems to be taking the world by storm. There are several ways to do this and it is quite effective for those who otherwise wouldn't exercise at all and for those who just love to dance. It comes out of your seat and moves to the music. Find a comfortable driving pace, close the curtains and dance until you can no longer breathe. It's a great way to get that much-needed exercise while having fun and not even realizing you're (panting) exercising. Note the matter is a good thing. If that doesn't sound like exercise, there's no reason for your body, mind, or spirit to protest, right?

Dance is emerging as a new sport in the United States and around the world. Reality TV shows like "Dancing with Stars" and movies like the one with Richard Gere-Shall We Dance have made ballroom dancing popular and appealing to the average person who would never have thought of this form of dance before. With so many great reasons for a person to dance, why wouldn't you want to dance?
