Family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as it is officially called, shocked the British monarchy when they resigned their royal position a year ago.

They later started a new life with various commercial projects in the United States and now live in California.

Under the original terms of their departure, announced at an emergency summit with the Queen in early 2020, Harry agreed to reconsider the decision a year later.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have assured her Majesty that they will not cooperate with the Royal Family," Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

The Queen wrote a statement that by diverting the royal family's business, the responsibilities and duties associated with a life of public service could not be continued.

Therefore, the supervisory military appointments and royal patronage of the Duke and Duchess would be returned to Her Majesty the Queen before being redistributed among the members of the royal family.

Prince Harry, a former soldier, has varying degrees of military honor, as well as the nominees from the CIS and many other patrons.

Megan was also given a number of honorary roles following Harry's wedding at a party at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

The couple is expecting their second child and is preparing for a 'warm' interview with the American chat host Oprah Winfrey about their life.
